告诉你们一个好消息，心心念念的端午小长假就在明天！而坏消息是下一个小长假，就要等到9月13-9月15日的中秋佳节了……
不知道大家是否都有想好端午节假期的出行计划？就算不打算出游，吃粽子、戴香包之类的传统活动也一定少不了吧。
端午节（农历五月初五）是中国古老的传统节日，始于春秋战国时期，至今已有2000多年历史，通常在阳历的六月份。
The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, has had a history of more than 2,000 years. It is usually in June in the Gregorian calendar.
端午节各地都吃什么？
10 Dragon Boat Festival delicacies
1.Zongzi 粽子
吃粽子这种传统源于汨罗江边的渔夫，将米丢入江中平息江中的蛟龙，希望它们不要伤害屈原。
The most important traditional food for the Dragon Boat Festival is zongzi（or tsung-tse / glutinous rice dumpling） -- pyramid-shaped glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in reed leaves.
端午节最重要的传统就是吃粽子，用芦苇叶包裹的金字塔形状的糯米包。
In general, northern Chinese prefer sweet rice dumplings filled with red-bean paste or Chinese dates, while southerners like savory ones with fillings such as egg yolk, pork and mushroom.
一般来说，北方人喜欢红豆沙或红枣馅的甜粽子，而南方人喜欢蛋黄、猪肉和蘑菇馅的咸味粽子。
2.Realgar Wine 雄黄酒
Realgar wine, or xionghuangjiu, is a Chinese alcoholic drink consisting of fermented cereals and powdered realgar.
雄黄酒是一种由发酵的谷物和雄黄粉组成的中国酒精饮料。
There is an old saying: "Drinking realgar wine drives disease and evil away."
有句老话说:“喝雄黄酒驱走疾病和邪恶。”
In ancient times, people believed that realgar was an antidote for all poisons, and effective for killing insects and driving away evil spirits.
在古代，人们相信雄黄是一种解毒药，能有效地杀死昆虫和驱除邪灵。
3. Tea eggs茶叶蛋
It is a custom for people in Central China's Nanchang, Jiangxi province, to eat tea eggs during the Dragon Boat Festival.
端午节吃茶叶蛋是中国中部江西省南昌市的一种习俗。
The shells of the boiled eggs are then dyed red, put into colorful netted bags, and hung around children's necks, which is believed to bring them good luck.
煮熟的鸡蛋壳被染成红色，装进五颜六色的网袋里，挂在孩子们的脖子上，据说这能给他们带来好运。
4.Glutinous rice cake 打糕
Glutinous rice cakes, or dagao, are a popular food for the holiday among the Korean ethnic group, mainly living in Yanbian prefecture in Northeast China's Jilin province. Served with honey or sugar, the cakes are delicious and chewy.
打糕是朝鲜族的节日的传统食物，尤其是居住在我国东北地区吉林省延边地区的人们。它通常和蜂蜜和糖一起食用，非常美味且有嚼劲。
5.Eel 鳝鱼
The custom of eating eel on the Dragon Boat Festival flourishes in Central China's Hubei province. Eels are probably consumed there simply because they are a seasonal delicacy: fatty and tender, and rich in nutrition.
端午节吃鳝鱼的习俗在中国中部的湖北省十分盛行。那里大家吃鳝鱼，很可能只是因为它们是一种时令美食:脂肪丰富，质地柔软而且营养丰富。
6.Fried cake 煎堆
Jiandui is a kind of fried round cake made of wheat and rice flour along with something to sweeten them. In East China's Fujian province, every family eats jiandui on the Dragon Boat Festival.
煎堆是一种用面粉和米粉做成的油炸圆饼，加上一些使它们变甜的东西。在中国东部的福建省，家家户户都在端午节吃煎堆。
7.Salted duck eggs 咸鸭蛋
Salted duck eggs have a briny aroma, a very liquid egg white and a firm-textured, round yolk that looks as orange as crab roe.
咸鸭蛋有咸味，非常清澈的蛋清和紧实的质地，橙色的蛋黄看起来像蟹黄一样。
Food from ducks is considered to have a cold nature in China's culinary culture. Thus, salted duck eggs may help with heat stroke, sore throats and toothaches.

8.Thin pancake 薄饼
In East China's Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, every family eats a kind of thin pancake during the Dragon Boat Festival.
在中国东部浙江省温州市，家家户户都会在端午节吃一种薄饼。
The pancake is made of refined white flour fried in a flat skillet. Bean sprouts, Chinese chives, shredded meat and mushrooms are later placed on the pancake, which is then rolled up and eaten as a wrap.
煎饼是用精制的白面粉在平底锅里煎制而成。之后，将豆芽、韭菜、肉丝和蘑菇放在煎饼上，卷起来食用。
9.Sanzi 馓子
Sanzi is a kind of wheat-based food shaped like a fan. Eating sanzi at the festival is especially popular in Northwest China's Gansu province.
馓子是一种形状像扇子的小麦食品。在节日吃馓子在中国西北部的甘肃省特别受欢迎。
The fan-shaped food is made up of five layers, with each layer covered with sprinkles of pepper powder. The custom is said to trace back to the tradition of making and selling fans during the Dragon Boat Festival in ancient times.
这种扇子形状的食物由五层组成，每层都撒上了胡椒粉。这个习俗据说可以追溯到古代端午节制造和销售扇子的传统。
10.Eggs with garlic 大蒜蛋
In rural areas of Central China's Henan province and East China's Zhejiang province, people eat eggs with garlic on Dragon Boat Festival.
在中国中部河南省和东部浙江省的农村地区，人们在端午节吃大蒜鸡蛋。
The eggs are steamed with garlic and then shared with families as breakfast. The food is believed to be beneficial to your health.
鸡蛋用大蒜蒸熟，然后作为早餐与家人分享。他们相信这种食物对你的健康有益。
端午节玩什么？
“鼓声三下红旗开，两龙跃出浮水来。棹影斡波飞万剑，鼓声劈浪鸣千雷。”
端午节最应景的节目就是赛龙舟（dragon boat racing ）。端午节也叫龙舟节，可见赛龙舟是端午节必不可少的一项活动。
端午节戴什么？
端午节最有特色的饰物就是香包（sachet）。小孩佩戴香包，传说有避邪驱瘟之意。用含有多种香味的药用植物（ herbal medicines）做成的香包也可以预防疾病。
端午节挂什么？
“不效艾符趋习俗，但祈蒲酒话升平。”
许多人相信五月是一年中容易引发疾病的危险时节，因此必须有许多防备家人生病的措施。端午节时，人们会将一种特别的植物——艾草挂在门口，作为保护之用。
在门上挂艾叶和菖蒲（branches of moxa and calamus around the doors of their homes）和悬钟馗像(display portraits of evil's nemesis, Chung Kuei)都是为了驱疾避凶，讨个吉利。
